Annies Song by John Denver Our song as of 9/11/82

When Attila (Art) did finally marry we went to Battle Creek on our Honeymoon and we went down to the bar after dinner for a few drinks to celebrate our wedding.  I still had on my wedding dress that I crocheted as I knew that I would never wear it again after that day.
While we were in the bar our waitress noticed my dress and asked about it and I told her it was my hand crocheted wedding dress.  There was a guy in the bar with a guitar singing for the nights entertainment.  Apparently the waitress told him about our just getting married (never mind that we lived together for some time before we married) and he asked us if we would like a song dedicated to us.  I have always loved Annie's Song by John Denver and it was the perfect song for us I felt.  So I requested that song and he sang it to us and for us.

These are the lyrics from that song.

You fill up my senses
Like a night in a forest
Like the mountains in springtime
Like a walk in the rain
Like a storm in the desert
Like a sleepy blue ocean
You fill up my senses
Come fill me again

Come let me love you
Let me give my life to you
Let me drown in your laughter
Let me die in your arms
Let me lay down beside you
Let me always be with you
Come let me love you
Come love me again

You fill up my senses
Like a night in a forest
Like the mountains in springtime
Like a walk in the rain
Like a storm in the desert
Like a sleepy blue ocean
You fill up my senses
Come fill me again

The morning of the day that Attila (Art) passed away I downloaded that song on my I phone and I played it but before I played it I sang it to him.  Then after that I downloaded the song and played it on the I phone for him.  It did describe our feelings for each other then and still now.  I am not sure if I will ever be able to love or care for someone as I did him.
