I have been at a loss for words lately.  Nothing to really talk about or blog about for that matter.  I did get some rather bad news from the orthopedic doc this week.  My broken leg is healing but not as they want it to or as fast as they would like it to.  Now I'm on the way next Tuesday the 15th to see another ortho doc who is a specialist regarding my leg.

Now i have to have surgery to remove the old artifical knee and replace it with a new one and then patch the hollow that the screws from the old knee made.  Also he will do something to the break as well.  Hopefully only in the hospital for a couple days then back home.  I hope it wont be long before I can walk on the leg again without using crutches.  I really want to be able to go up and down steps so that I can start using my bedroom again.  And, I will be able to go into the living room that is three steps down from the main part of the house.

I am working on an exchange piece for valentines for my stitching group and I have a snowflake to stitch for the ornament sal I joined for this year.  I also have to make an ornament a moth to send to the others in my ornament exchange that I joined.  Also still working on grandsons afghan its getting larger but the arthritis in my hands don't like me to do many rounds before they start bothering me or become numb.  So then I have to stop.  Stitching doesn't seem to bother them as much as crocheting does.
